1. INTRODUCTION

https://www.lginnotek.com/main/main.do?locale=en is the site with the purpose of creating an experience of what LGIT brand is and its various products with detailed information.

If you contact us with an inquiry, we may collect your location, full name, phone number, work email, company type, company name, product/solution information you are interested, and your work industry.

This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, and share information that we obtain as a result of your use of the Sites.

LGIT reserves the right to add or remove service from its Sites and to modify its service from time to time.

The Sites may provide access to websites and links to other services owned and operated by third parties. These third party services are outside the scope of this Privacy Policy and have their own policies that apply to the collection, use, and sharing of information in connection with their services. For example, you may click on buttons or enter text on an LGIT Sites, tell us information when you call/email LGIT customer service, or fill out and send us a product registration card for your LGIT product.

Automatic Collection. By using the Sites, you may automatically provide us with information. For example, when you visit LGIT Sites from your computer, browser or smartphone, your device may automatically send us information such as browser requests, your IP address, or cookie or pixel data. Similarly, when you call LGIT customer service, your phone carrier may automatically send us information for the Caller ID function.

As a general matter, LGIT collects information that may help us in providing you with the current services and provide you with future products and services.

6. COLLECT AND USE OF INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16

If you are under 16, please do not attempt to register on the Sites with any personal information. If you are at least 16 but under the age of 18, you must have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use or access the Sites. If LGIT learns that a child under 16 has provided us with any personal information, LGIT will promptly delete such personal information.

7. OVERSEAS TRANSFERS

We, our affiliates, subsidiaries, and suppliers may use information (including your personal information) in countries other than where you are located in connection with providing you with our service and any other purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. The data protection laws in many of these countries may not offer the same level of protection as those in the country where you are located. The information you submit. You are in control of the information that you choose to directly provide LGIT. This privacy policy explains how LGIT will treat any information that you choose to submit directly via the service.

The information that we automatically collect. When accessing the Sites via a web browser, LGIT may automatically collect information using web technologies like cookies. For example, we may send you functional emails to confirm your request, to send you notice of payments, to send you information about changes to our products and services, and to send notices and other disclosures as required by law. Generally, you cannot opt-out of these types of necessary or informational communications.

10. YOUR RIGHT

California – California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”): This document – the LGIT privacy policy – provides notice to California consumers regarding the personal information collected, the sources of the personal information, the use of the personal information, a description of how LGIT shares that personal information, and your California privacy rights.

You have the right to (a) know what personal information LGIT collects about you (including the specific pieces of that information), how it uses that information, to whom it discloses that information, and whether it sells that information to third parties, (b) to have LGIT delete your personal information, (c) to opt out of any sale of your personal information, and (d) not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

LGIT does not sell your personal information in connection with the services.

As a California resident, you may appoint an authorized agent to exercise your rights on your behalf. In order for us to honor a request made by your agent, you must submit proof of your written authorization of the agent to security@lginnotek.com prior to submitting a request.

California – Shine the Light. You have the right to be provided with a description of any categories of information that LGIT disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes and to know the identity of those third parties. To make such a request please contact us at security@lginnotek.com.

California – Eraser Law. If you are a California resident under the age of 18 and are a registered user of the LGIT Websites, then you may request that we remove any submission you publicly posted on or in the LGIT websites. To request removal of a submission, please email a detailed description of the submission to security@lginnotek.com. You may also be able to log into your account and delete your own submission. LGIT reserves the right to ask you to provide information that enables us to confirm that the submission in question was created and posted by you.

11. ANALYTICS

12. THIRD PARTY WEB SITES AND COOKIES

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected via the services. The services may contain links to other web sites or services. Similarly, third parties may place cookies on your device that allow them to track your network activity while using LGIT Sites and services. Any information you provide to these third parties is subject to that third party’s privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites or third party cookies.

13. DO NOT TRACK

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not want them to track your online activities. The Site does not currently support Do Not Track requests

14. ASSIGNMENT

In the event that all or part of our assets are sold or acquired by another party, or in the event of a merger, you grant us the right to assign the information collected via the Sites.

CHANGE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated by LGIT from time to time, without notice, although we will inform you of any material changes through an update to the Sites, and you will be asked to accept the update. If you do not consent to any updates to this Privacy Policy, some of the service may be restricted.

15. SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. Nevertheless, due to the design of the internet, ever-changing technology, and other factors outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and the Sites will be free from unauthorized access by third parties or that LGIT will not be subject to security breaches. We do not accept any responsibility for the disclosure of personal information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized or unlawful acts of third parties or your decision to disclose your personal information. You must also take appropriate steps to keep your password confidential and change it regularly.

16. GOVERNING LAW/VENUE/FORUM

Except to the extent prohibited by local law, any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, shall be: (i) referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Rules of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (ii) where the number of arbitrators shall be three, (iii) the seat, or legal place, of arbitration shall be Seoul, South Korea, (iv) the language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English and (v) the governing law of the contract shall be the substantive law of the Republic of Korea.
